One of Laurie Campbells pictures:

The second edition of Otters is now available!

With the first edition published in 1994, this one is long overdue! Sorry to keep you waiting so long.

This is the second volume in the new Whittet British Natural History Collection. It has 20% more words than the first edition and is nearly 50% heavier - must be the amazing photographs and high quality of production. It has been brought up to date with a lot more information on the recovery of the otter population as well as much new material on otter biology. No reviews yet, I am afraid.

Guy Troughton has produced a splendid new cover and there are some absolutely stunning photographs by Laurie Campbell.

If you want a signed copy, see below, but if you can live without my illegible signature, why not support local business and buy a copy from your local independent bookshop. You can buy it online from the Whittet Bookstore or the Natural History Book Service which are both UK companies. Whittet have produced a flyer with more information which is available here

Signed copies:

I am happy to sign copies and send them to UK addresses for £17, which includes postage (2nd) and packing. Payment, in advance, by cheque or via Paypal* please. If you would like to order a copy please email me (see contacts link at right of menu bar). I will normally sign and date copies but am happy to include additional words if requested. I will not always be able to process orders at very short notice.

Overseas: It is much more expensive to post to Europe or elsewhere so please ask me to quote you a price if you want a signed copy. I am happy to take copies to conferences etc. For example I will be at the European Otter Workshop in Ireland this spring.

*You won't need a Paypal account, I can send you an invoice which you can pay with a normal debit or credit card.
